Default Is there a way to do this...?

Hey guys,

As always, we're always trying to find new ways to improve work flow and I'm wondering if there is a simpler/quicker solution to what I want to do...

If, for example, I've set up an AUX channel to send the drums to - say, through Bus 1&2 - is there a simpler/quicker way to select each drum track and change it's output to that Bus?

In Logic, you can just highlight all the tracks, then anything you do on one of them will follow suit with the rest. Thus; highlight - choose bus 1&2 - done! Instead of having to change each one individually.

I find this very tedious indeed...

Any thoughts?

select the first drum track, hold shift and select the last drum track. all drum tracks should be selected.

then hold shift + option while selecting the output of one of the selected tracks to go to whatever bus.

this works for pretty much everything you want to do across a select group of tracks.

btw, it is nearly impossible to be efficient in pro tools with a mouse. it is just not designed that way. i would suggest getting a book and learning key commands. they make your pro tools life MUCH easier.
