How to save multiple CC Controller lanes in Window Configuration
I created a Window Configuration with Midi dock displaying multiple midi CC lanes (Eg, velocity, volume, etc) however whenever I switch windows and come back to it the multiple controller lanes are gone except for the first one. What am I doing wrong?

No replies.
Well...It seems window configurations do not save multiple midi CC lanes. Don't understand why not. Seems like it was overlooked. Bummer.

Re: How to save multiple CC Controller lanes in Window Configuration
Works here.
For your configuration, do you have: Quote:
By default that is off. if it is on, try creating a new window configuration or trashing preferences and then creating a window configuration.

Re: How to save multiple CC Controller lanes in Window Configuration
Yes I had that box checked in the window configuration settings. Would you mind letting me know if you click on another track and then go to your back to your window configuration, do you still see the multiple CC lanes?

Quote:
"another track" do you mean MIDI or audio or any type of track? What do you mean "go back to your window configuration"? just clicking on another track doesn't change my current window configuration. Would you like me to flip through configurations? Would you like me to click on another MIDI track and then reselect my current window configuration? Pretty much just give me the exact steps you'd like me to try from the minute I start Pro Tools and I'll try to recreate your issue? Kind of like: Step 1: start Pro Tools 2: Open a blank session. 3: create 1 MIDI track etc.

Re: How to save multiple CC Controller lanes in Window Configuration
Ok. I'm closer to solving the problem. If I click on any other track I lose the multiple CC lanes in the docked midi editor. If I then click on the target track that I originally saved the window configuration on the multiple cc lanes are still missing until I recall the window configuration.
So to make a long story short, it seems you have to click on the target midi track first then recall the window configuration in order to see the multiple CC lanes.
