Phase problems when bussing

Ok, when I buss drums or other instruments to apply a 2 track compression (ren. comp) I am getting phase cancellation. I do try to phase reverse when it comes back to the console, but this doesn't work. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

I'm assuming that what you're doing is returning the compression buss along with the original signal.

So either, this is a mistake and you shouldn't do that

or you prefer to mix the uncompressed drums with the compressed drums.

In the latter case you should send all the drums to two seperate busses. Then compress buss A with your Ren Comp and put the TimeAdjuster plugin on buss B and set it to equal the delay time of the Ren Comp.
