Default Deleting Unused Clips

I want to delete the copy Pro Tools made not the original, If select the option to delete rather remove will it preserve the original and delete Pro Tools copy to save disk space? or will removing do that as well as I select it but I'm afraid that x amount of copies will still be stored in the audio files subfolder of the session.

"Remove" will remove the clips/regions from your session. "Delete" will delete them from the hard drive. So, before you choose delete, make sure you do not need them.

In Pro Tools delete mean delete . Remove cut saves a copy delete does not . Meaning mo selector tool to extend previous edits.

I don't even cut clips I just mute them now . just as fast but always there.
