Macbook shortcuts with shuttle pro v2

Within Avid Pro Tools 9 on my new iMac, I'm able to scrub successfully with the jog wheel on the Shuttle Pro v2. But on my macbook pro, with the same settings its doesn't scrub. I've checked all settings in pro tools and the shuttle pro v2 but no joy.

Any ideas?
