Waves L3 use in Post Production
I'm curious to know the results of anyone using the L3 in a post production enviroment. I'd like to use it but the latency issue is overwhelming. In my normal day, I will mix a one hour show then layback to digibeta, da-88 and rerecord mix stems back into protools all at the same time, all while the client requests fixes and adjustments. The Delay Compensation (long) operation is great for the mixstems, but the real time layback to digibeta and da-88 is about 3 frames late. I would like to accomplish this without offsetting my whole session, any ideas?
