I do get your disappointment but you do have an option. You could sell your S3 and with the money get a couple of new S1s and some tablets. Those units still fetch a good price. It would get you to a new dimension with the metering you would like. I plan to get a second one later this year. I am sure it wont be long before you start seeing open box in outlet zones. I got my dock at a solid discount that way. I put a 10.5" 32gb Ipad I got for 250 on my s1. Not as nice as a 12" pro but its just fine for me and still pretty close.
