Default TI G4 PB 667mhz?

A buddy of mine just purchased a new TI Powerbook 667mhz and a 2 PCI slot Magma chassis to use with 001. He seems to have problems in terms of plug in count, and feels that it may have something to do with the Magma. He was able to get more plug-ins going on his old G4 450mhz tower. Does anybody out there have a similar system? Any thoughts on this?
