Transfer between Mac and PC using Digi 001/PT LE?
I have a very simple question regarding PT LE and the Digi 001 system.
There is a recording studio in town that has a full blown Mac-based Protools rig. I have been recording piano tracks at this studio for some time. I would like to add other tracks at home on my home system (bass/keboards, other stuff that I don't need the full studio for) My question is - if I get the Digi001/PT LE setup for my PC at home, what would be involved in getting the piano session/sound files (.sd2 files i believe) on to the PC, and if I add more tracks at home on the PC (which would be in .wav format, right?), can I then take that back to the recording studio and their Mac setup to do mixes? Any responses are appreciated, as I would like to make this decision soon! Thanks! Allan |
