Which monitor setup?

I'm upgrading to HD3 from Mixplus as soon as the G5 is blessed by Digi. What monitor option would be best between (2) 20" Apple Flatpanels or (1) 23" Flatpanel? I'm using a 21" CRT now at 1024x768 and am used to the way Protools looks on it.

I do a lot of video post and was thinking I would use the 2nd 20" for video playback, transport window, etc.

I would go with the 2x20" displays. Just remember that the 21"CRT is only 20" viewable and LCD monitors are measured by actual size so it would be the same size as the monitor you have now. I really like having the mix window always viewable while I am doing editing so I need two monitors.

just an observation
remember that you'll have only 3 pci's on the G5
just in case you haven't noticed

and if you are using SCSI then
you'll need an expansion chassis etc...
or use Firewire & the SATA drives

i have an HD3 and a Dual 1.25 dual boot
i'm lusting after the G5 but
i still use SCSI & Firewire
maybe i'll change to Firewire completely. [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img]
