Pro Tools Error Message - something about had to adjust or delete regions
I was setting up mics and doing some test runs today for some drum tracks. When i shut down pro tools, I got the usual saving message, but when i clicked "save," it didn't, it just spazzed out. I went to reopen pro tools and the session and i got the message above. Something about "pro tools had to adjust or delete some regions." When pro tools opened, the entire session was blank. I checked the regions folder and it seems to have all or almost all of the most recent recordings. I have no reason why this happened. I had to open a backup session that wasn't complete, but it was better than the others...anyone know why this happens?

Re: Pro Tools Error Message - something about had to adjust or delete regions
Kind of sucks cause all of my projects are on hold til I figure it out. Im worried that I'll actually get something good down and this will happen again. That will be even more frustrating than just waiting for an answer...

Difficult to say for sure without more detaiils.
What type of drive are you using for your sessions? Was it formatted/erased using the Disk Utility? What's the partition map - GUID or APM? |

It could be something as simple as a bad drive format - we see this kind of thing every now and then. |
