You actually have to move it to the bottom section with all other post-fader inserts (and arrange those post-fader inserts as you would in Pro Tools for a bussed-to aux track following the audio track.) No OCD issues because it can't be stacked out of order or between pre-fader inserts.
It is literally just a mash of adding an aux after an audio track but representing it as one track. No "magic" to it.

How about killing the poorly executed Application Manager and taking a cue from MicroSoft (shudder at the thought) by adding a "Check For Updates" choice to the Help menu. That way WE could choose when to run that operation and the AppMan wouldn't be hanging up the studio's machine and internet connection.

Especially in post during screenings, it makes too much illumination. So a dark scheme option.
It's not that silly.
I'll +1 this.

Media Composer has this option and it works well. I prefer a dark interface most of the time.

Avid should acquire MozaicBeats and integrate AutoTheory into PT. This would push MIDI in Pro Tools to the same level as other DAWs and really speed-up MIDI productions.

I do that with the excellent BlueCat Gain plugin.

Speaking of MC, Pro Tools would look beautiful with a similar GUI. Now I know it's not the most vital change to expect, but...just sayin'

we don’t need new features yet we need a stable programme that works!
Fix the problems before trying to appease customers with shiny new stuff!

There are a lot of people who are relying on this product for their livelyhood
And who run businesses..

FIX the FLAWS that most of the competitions DAWS don’t have..
