Default Fruityloops.... any plugin similar for MAC/PT\'s?

If you have used FL, you understand how great the interface is for creating drum patterns. I have yet to find anything similar for MAC. Can anyone point me in the direction of something similar?

Muchos Gracias,

Opus

Hi
I had the same problem when I came over from PC land. When I need beats I use Stylus for drums and Trilogy for Bass by Spectrasonics.
I use Reason on occasion which is great but prefer the Spectrasonics stuff because it is very easy to use and you can use loops or build everything seperate and it is a plugin for RTSA.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Such comments infuriate me, as I've heard similar ones directed at Reason users a while back. I do prefer Reason, but there's nothing wrong with Fruity, it can be a great writing tool, and my guess is that most people assume it's a toy based on the name. Have a closer look, you might be surprised. Not trying to defend PC/Fruity users, but I've heard amazing production done in FL alone, so with all redundancy intended, it's how you use what you have.

For Mac, try these in conjuntion with PT, a Rewire trio made in heaven.

first off dont mind world of wiz he is the kind of person who can ruin making music for alot of people if he were to check the newest version of fruity loops maybe he would understand that its not just a toy anymore. try setting a tempo in protools and then switch to bars and beats then take induvidual sound files (youl have to find some) and put them into 8th 16th and so on . also you could try tokyo plugins they are really great.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Well, thats odd, because while Reason is has more functions, in terms of creating drum/percussion patterns, its very similar, so either you have not used FL and you dont know what you are talking about, or you have used FL but dont know how to use it. So, which is it?
