Digi 002 faders stopped working...NEED HELP

All the faders on my digi 002 are totally non-responsive... i have pro tools 8.03 that im running on an iMac 2.4 GHz intel core 2 duo with mac osx 10.5.8. ive searched hi and low for a solution, awnser or explination an got nothing. PLEEEEEASE... if anybody can tell me anything that could bring my 002 back 2 life it would be greatly appreciated.
