Default What do you do with all your leftover CDs?

Well my band broke up due to a member getting a job in another state. We are all really happy for him, but now 800 CDs are left sitting in my basement and I am trying to come up with creative Ideas on what to do with them. Some of the options I have been considering:

Using the CDs to make a public art sculpture

Riffle Range targets

Help heat up your muffin in the morning by putting it on a cd in the microwave

Using them as a weapon against my nextdoor gangsters

Create my own home tanning booth.

Any ideas for use of these CDs would be welcome.

Line the walls of your studio with them.

All the best studios have cds on their walls.

It's all of my band's CDs at least we were able to pay it off. Not like it was actually that much to get 1000 cd's paid off when you don't have to pay for the recording

How about giving them away? All kidding aside though people love free stuff. Take stacks up to all the stores you know and put them on the counter tops for people to take. You may gain a ton of new fans. Even if your band is broken up, the songs can still be enjoyed.

If you recorded the band then use the CDs as studio promos.....

Or just send me one so I can add a CD to my collection....

I'll second giving them away/trying to sell some. play some solo acoustic shows and give/sell them.

If you're not interested in that, save the cases for sure. I always seem to need more cases.

if you're into photography/video, you can make a mean reflector with them. make a second one and spray some clear coat onto it for a more diffuse reflector.
