Default Best quality LE system

Folks,

Which Pro Tools system under $500.00 provides the best quality recording? I have an MBox mini that is pretty good, but I'm sure there are others than can deliver better recordings. Your thoughts on this are appreciated

A used 002 Rack from Ebay would be my choice within that budget.

As Tom says, a used unit like that would be the way for you to go. You already have the software with your Mbox mini....

I'll sell you my 002R right now for $500. It won't come with the software, but you've already got that.

I'm serious, BTW.

Invest in a good mic/pre combination---that will be more beneficial than buying another interface in that range.

Nope. Actually the opposite. I'm scaling down, and all I need right now is my MBox 2 Mini (PT dongle).
