Top Avid Plug-ins
I'm currently looking to purchase an Avid specific plug-in. I want to know what are the best to you and why.
Some of my costumers have bad vocals (timing or pitch), room noise, bad acoustics, etc. What are some good plug-ins to correct these issues. Avid only. Budget is not an issues. Thank you. |

Re: Top Avid Plug-ins
Avid only severely limits your choices. Bad room acoustics is really tough to solve, but the stock EQ III 7 band can help as good as most. Set narrow filters and boost to +9, then sweep till the "ugly stuff" jumps out and dip that frequency. Repeat as needed. Bad timing can be helped using Elastic Audio(also stock). Minor pitch issues can be solved with Elastic Pitch, but real vocal tuning calls for 3rd party help. Melodyne Editor and Waves Tune are excellent for that.
