Default ReWire FL Studio 11 To ProTools 11

Hey, I just made a big leap to buy PT 11 and changing from fl studio 11. I'm a huge Fl studio user but I know that PT is the industry "standard" but I have a bunch of plugins that I would like to use still so I tried Rewiring FL Studio to PT. PT being the master program and fl studio being the slave but Pt is not picking up fl studio as a instrument plugin. I believe I have registered Fl studio as a Rewire Client because it works within itself, but I have no idea what to do when it comes to PT for I am still new to it.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks, I just tried it but sadly fl did not show up in my plugin list. I am trying to Rewire the program Fl studio 11 to Protools so I can make my beats in Fl but do my mixing in protools. Any ideas?

Not my area of expertise, but I did a google search for:
fl studio rewire pro tools
...and found a number of results.
See if this one helps:

Also make sure you're using the 64 bit version of FL.

Hey Thanks that help a lot but my problem is how to actually get Fruity loops to appear in PT instrument's drop down menu as a plugin. The article really did help with breaking down all the steps after that.

Hey DJ Jyra,

As a user of both FL and Pro Tools, and having written music in both. I can tell you it's easier and faster to just write in FL Studio and print the audio to import to Pro Tools for editing. I've done it this way for years now and find it suits my work flow just fine. Perhaps it will work for you. If you want to make changes, just make them in Pro Tools. Or go back to FL and print again. Besides, using Rewire can create problems, especially if you run any x86 plugins.

Hope this helps.
