Can I use my old Digidesign adat interface (PH006) w/ this Project PCI +882 I/O and < - -"sync / link" - -> session8XL + Digidesign adat interface ?

ProTools Project as Master and Session8 XL as Slave - via adat optical.

more "accuracy" than MTC, right?

[optical out] (PH006 -Project) |- - -> [optical in] (PH006 - S8XL).

This a configuration that we never tested, so it's tough to say. One system would be resolved to the other, but I don't think that the transport on the second system would respond to the first.
