Default PT 12 = sticky/jerkey faders?

Just upgraded from PT10. The faders on the mixer window seem to be "sticky" as in there appears to be a graphics issue with the DAW when the program is playing back. This is a fresh install on a brand new 2015 retina macbook pro, ssd/16 gigs of ram, I7, etc.... Is this a bug or a setting I need to check? Any help greatly appreciated, thanks.

Haven't seen that here. Which OS and PT version are you currently using?

Have you tried to delete PT Preferences, reboot, then launch PT?

This problem relates back to Protools 11. Sometimes it is there and other times it is not...

I gave up on figuring out what it was.

I have the same system... Just bought it two or three weeks ago. It's very disheartening when a 2,250€ MBP runs jerky like that. It's insane if I open the mixer window then open SSD4 on top of that... yikes.

This is the first time I read about it... will check out the other links above, but your not alone on that!

I've been having this since Yosemite (including PT11). Didn't have this with Mavericks. Quartz DeBug with beam sync disabled is a quick solution to fix this.
