just had an hands on demo here in Copenhagen. I have to say, an amazing piece of gear! really nice concept. I'm looking forward to see it out on the road soon :)

So, Venue now runs on an RTOS. Anybody know which one?
Since Avids products run on Windows and OS X I would think they'd like to make use of their experience there. But as far as I know none of the flavors of Windows and very few flavors of *nix can properly be called a real time OS.

Both Windows and Linux have extensions that allow running hard real-time tasks.
