changing icon of FW drive?
I remember doing this on my first LaCie, where I was able to sift through a few icons and choose one, purely aesthetic of course, but now that I just plugged in my brand new 200GB D2 drive, I can't figure out how I did it back then. It shows up with an icon looking like the hard drive itself, I wouldn't mind matching the ones I already have, which is this orange-flatbox-with FW logo on top thingy...
No big thang, just thought I'd ask.

Re: changing icon of FW drive?
I think this should work. "get info" (command I) for both the new drive and the old one, click on the icon in the old fW drive's info window, then "copy" it, then in the new "get info" window for your lacie drive, click on the lacie icon and then "paste". Should work. Hope this helps.
