Xpand2 and Pro Tools 10.3.9

Hi all,

I have ready various posts on this but to no avail have I found a solution. I've tried everything from reinstalling Pro Tools etc., renaming files, downloading Prefedit to recode the Xpand2 pref file but nothing seems to be working.

I have just reinstalled Pro Tools 10 on to a new machine and installed the instrument pack and update.

However, when I load Xpand2 it either asks me to locate the .big file, which I do (/Applications/Avid/Avid Virtual Instruments/Xpand2) and then it works for that session but when I open the session again it either asks me again or, more often than not, doesn't ask me at all and I'm just left with an empty Xpand2. All the presets are there but they don't load anything.

Can someone please advise the process to get this sorted as nothing I've read or tried has been successful as yet.

Has anyone got any ideas on this? Sorry but pretty desperate to get it up working...
