Default For all those with 9093,9094 Buffer errors running Windows xp-fix that might work

Hey everybody,

So I posted this a couple days ago after reading through the forums on a set solution for these buffer errors and couldn't find a solution.

http://duc.digidesign.com/showthread.php?t=267576

Bought a separate hard drive (which you should do regardless) messed with BIOS settings, CPU settings etc. nothing worked!

Anyways, I decided to call digidesign to see what they had to say, the tech asked me to go to the digidesign site and type in 40492...came up with this:

http://digidesign.com/index.cfm?query=40492

Windows 7 beta audio driver.

And what do you know, after installation and restart, viola.. worked!

Don't know if it will work for you, but worth a shot. I know I was on the verge of going crazy with the amount of errors I was getting, I couldn't record/playback passed 2 minutes.

Good luck everybody!

well, I didn't see it in my readings and nobody mentioned it to me... just passing on it on for others who may have missed it.

To put it mildly, this driver is not for everyone. Check the beta thread.
