blue screen flash and reboot after installation

Ok, so i just recently got a new laptop, running windows XP home edition SP2. 1.73 GHz, 1024MB RAM... and I'm trying to install my protools (M-Box) which I've been using without any problems on a G4 for well over a year now. but as soon as the installation is over and i try to open up protools, I get a blue screen flash for about 1 second with a whole bunch of writing on it (which I ofcoarse can't read because it's gone after a second). This is then followed by my computer restarting on it's own.

I'm currently trying to install the only version of protools for a pc that came with my M-Box which just happens to be 5.3.3. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times and still no luck. I also tried uninstalling quicktime and installing protools without quicktime on the system and still nothing?


Any thoughts? any help would be greatly appreciated.
