Default Odd nudge error

I'm getting some odd behavior with the nudge settings.
I can't get the nudge function to work set to beats and bars. Any time I select beats and bars it defaults to 0/0/022 and if I try to change it to anything else I get a pop up that says :

" Assertion in "/Volumes/Development/vb_cliff/
AlturaPorts/DFW/MacBuild/../Views
UMenu.MacOS.cpp,line 922"

All other nudge functions work fine (Sample, Time, etc) and the option to follow the main counter for selection works on them as well.

All the regular trashing/ restart stuff has been done....
Any suggestions?

I have been getting errors when I quit lately ( PT has unexpectedly Quit yada yada) but I've been chalking that up to Rewire issues.

I'd sure appreciate some insight..........

Thanks,
Marc

Do you do that manually or with the app available at the top of the forum?
I have had a very similar issue and it was resolved by using the app properly. good luck, SB

If you manually type a value into the nudge value when it is in bar/beats you will continue to get that error (a bug). You can either manually type in a value in any other time format (time code,min/sec, etc.) or you can select a musical note value from the dropdown menu in the nudge window when it is in bar beat mode. This bug has been fixed in PT8 and you can now type whatever you want in the bar beat nudge value without any assertion error. Hope that helps,
Noah

BaileyBass,
Yes, I'm using the latest version of the "flushing app".

FancyBoy,

Thanks for the info.
I'll try that work around tomorrow.
I'd swear this is a recent development for me but regardless it's nice to know it's a known bug and not just me,

Thanks
