Thanks - based on this I went ahead and got a used Artist Mix and honestly, this is still the best cross-DAW controller out there IMO. It is the best controller for Cubase since Eucon is much better than MCU there but even in Logic, this is as good if not better than something like the SSL UF8. I need to learn all the hidden functions but so far so good. I hope Avid considers a similar form factor (wide not deep) in the future. The S1 just takes up too much space for me.
