Default Artist Mix with Eucon 3 very sluggish

after getting acquainted with the Artist Mix I do have to say I am very disappointed in how sluggish the faders react, sometimes they stick...I move them but the screen won't update till seconds later... and when it works, it's sluggish at best (Mountain Lion 32 gig ram, PT 10 and PT11 and Nuendo 6)
Being that it's Eucon I expected it to feel like a real console, immediate response.
Is that because of the Eucon 3 issues or is that how Eucon works with the Mix?

I remember using the Alphatrack in native mode in Nuendo and it never got stuck it acted like a console... unfortunately HUI mode (for PT) didn't and they stopped updating their drivers...

When I switched to a Euphonix based product using Eucon I really expect at least the same performance.

Please enlighten me, did I just waste a lot of money or will this be addressed in a Eucon update?

Thanks
