Don't forget you can subscribe to Pro Tools standard by the month to do a quick test. Then upgrade the licenses if that works and keep using what you installed.

Or try the trial version free and for 30 days you can use both Ultimate and non Ultimate versions and see if PT is right for you as the trial is a 100% fully working version and no stops and sound interferences etc with no white sound like some other demo trials.

No problem at all, thanks for chiming in !

Believe I would love to not create another repetitive thread, if Pro Tools worked as it is supposed to regarding its price, I would be more than happy to help others on the forum instead of asking for help. I have been having those CPU spikes for at least 2 - 3 years now and it is completely crazy all the things I have to do to make it work.

At some point, I was hesitating downgrading to PT 11 to see if it helps... But I am pretty sure that it won't...

Sorry this wasn’t meant as a jab at your thread. We have had some looooong threads trying to help people who doesn’t want help so it was more an internal joke with Darryl and myself Sorry if I was sounding like this was one of those threads.

Ho don't worry, I did not took it badly. :).

But I have to admit I am quite annoyed to having to do all those things to MAYBE have the good of DSP letting Pro Tools act normally on my computer...

Anyone having similar issues (graphic kind of Ersatz solution) can chime in here :).

I am thinking of maybe trying another PT version...

Like 125.5, 12.4 and so on...

If anyone have ever tried that.

If you already tried 2019.x on your current OS then you have tested a version with the click track bug fix, and the significant general DAE/AAX processing improvements. You would likely be wasting time, you need to try an entirely new Mojave install running the latest 2019. You should value your time and focus on quickly seeing if that new fully clean install works.
