Default so.....

if i go into a 001 digitally through a mini me will it sound the same as going into a tdm digital with a mini me.

Are you saying that an 001 isn't as good as an HTDM system? I'm trying to find this info on Digi's site but I can't find a straight comparison....

I was hoping to pick up a Lamborghini Diablo used for the cost of a Ford Fiesta...I'll keep looking

Of course it will. The MiniMe will digitize the signal and send that signal into the digital interface of your system. That digital signal will be stored on the hard drive, bit for bit exactly the same whether it's recorded on a TDM system or LE system (or anything else for that matter, assuming it's 24bit capable). Beyond that, you'll simply be dealing with the inherent differences in the mixer plug-ins for TDM versus LE, but those have nothing to do with the recorded audio.

This thread doesn't make much sense right now, but I hope that answers your question.
