Default Copying mixer-channel settings from session to session?

I'm totally new to ProTools, coming from the world of running Cubase on a PC. The thing I'm wondering about is if anybody knows how to copy mixer-channel settings (volume, pan, inserts, sends...) from session to session? For example, it would be nice to quickly import settings for say drum channels during an album recording...

There is not such an option.

A tip:
chose in the menu "import track"
chose to not copy audio.
Select all audio inside the imported tracks
clear it (don't delete, just remove it from the audio list).
Clear eventual automation.

....a little bit complicated...

Assuming I understand your question… make yourself a template. Here’s the Mac version:

1. Open the session you want to keep the settings from. 2. Under the File menu, Save Session Copy in your audio drive. 3. Delete everything on the Edit Page. 4. In the Regions List, click on Select All. 4. Click on Clear Selected. 5. Click "Remove" (not "delete"). 6. PT will ask you if you’re really sure about every individual region in your session. Hit "yes,yes,yes,yes….". 7. Save and close. 8. Click on and highlight the PT icon for the closed file. Under the File menu, choose Get Info. 9. In the lower right corner of this window, click "Stationery pad." 10. Voila!.

If you had track-based automation moves in the original session (aux in’s, plugs, etc.), you’ll want to zero those out, too.

Hope this helps.
