Hi all string theory cats. Question. I recently happened on a video featuring the Fender Pawn Shop Evcelsior amp. In the video it sounded great.(Almost too good to be true !) Has anyone out there bought or played through one? I'd like to know before I get serious about it. (The price is also too good to be true!) Thanks

Don't waste you time\money. We had both the Excelsior and the Greta in the store, and neither sound good at all. There's a reason the price has dropped in half on the past month or so...

I bought one and run my 11R through the mic input to use as a monitor while I run the XLR's to the board. It works great for that.

The store I got mine at can't keep them in stock, but as apparent from the other response I guess opinion can differ. :)
