Noise Blasts up through PT 12.4 [FIXED IN 12.5]

Looks like a separate/different trigger than Midnightrambler's which was the repro case Avid fixed.

Just got one in 12.5. Not nearly as bad as in the past though. Got the good old cpu overload error with looping stuttering audio. After the error I tried to hit play and got a burst. First issue in two days though, so I'm not terribly unhappy.

Can you try to make a new session from scratch in 12.5 and "recreate" the situation that caused it? That would help Fabfilter fix it.

i made a new session and import the stuff from the other session via "import session data". dosen´t help.

i used also the Fabfilter C2 in the session, no problem with him.
i tried all kind of combinations and in the end it was always Q2 & MB.

I'm not trying to make it go away. I'm trying to make a rock solid repro case for what appears to be a Fabfilter issue. This helps IMMENSELY. If you can give Fabfilter the exact steps it takes to make it happen every time, they can fix it.

thought so. i think its some problem in PT combined with some plugins. (maby)

i am getting these blasts also back in the days in PT 10 native.
but even worst. the blasts came out of auxes wich had no inputs...very strange
a friend of mine broke his speaker

thats why i leave PT for a couple of years.
i am back since jan2016 and install 12.4 and yesterday 12.5

No, I have two systems--a Mac Pro with 12.4HD.

But I tried installing 12.5 on my laptop. It would allow me to "save," "save as," and it wouldn't "Auto-save." A window popped up saying there was an "assertion error." I would like to return to 12.4 for my laptop, but the 12.4 link is no longer in my account. I've submitted my first "Support Ticket."

I never had "noise blasts" on my laptop. It is a mid 2012 MacBook Air 13" with 2.0 i7 and Mavericks.

i know, i do a lot of beta testing for developers (not for fabfilter)

i will try to isolate the part tomorrow (its a huge session) and send it to them.
maby it works.
the good thing, it happens not randomly, i can recreate it everytime.
they only have to press start at a certain point in the session.
