artist mc control, no replacement parts

i have 2 mc mix and one mc control version 1.
my control is having some display problem, retrolight, and flickering screen
with my surprise my reseller tell me that there is no replacement parts for it.
big disappointment really. we are speaking about a product that is still in the store!

Maybe there was some confusion over the phone when you inquired about the MC Control? MCU (Mackie Control Universal) is the one with no replacement parts. Euphonix/Avid Artist products can be repaired, but I believe you would have to submit an RMA first.

yes...let's clarify, i have already sent the mc control for repairing, the reply ha some from the factory, directly from ireland they said that there is no replacement parts for the display.
how is that possible?

The version 1 display wasn't as good as the version 2 display. They're probably only talking about that one. I say they replace it with the better display.

unfortunately no... my mc control now sit in front of me, they sent it back! broken and with no replacement parts.
my question is, how is possible that they don't repair anymore? it's not officially discontinued, sure they sell the version 2 now but nobody has discontinued the previous product, right?
no exchange program, nothing, just a short, we can't repair....
it's there other user experience like this?

Have you tried talking to sweetwater to see if they can order you the part? They will do that for the faceplates and power supplies, if they do the screens let me know!

I got my screen replaced Feb or Mar this year.

I also need a replacement for my Control, and got the same story from my dealer in Toronto (Canada). Dont really want to pitch a good product in the garbage and lose all the money I paid for it.

Must be a solution for all the owners of V1 Euphonix product, pre-AVID models.

Appreciate any help/comments from the forum members.

same situation here, try >> http://pms.de. They send me a OLED display.
Was a little work to open and close the mixer though, but all is fine now
