Of course, but unless these mixes were started over ~2 years ago, that seems unlikely. OP never says, so I took an educated guess!

Comme ci comme ca. If there are zero TDM/RTAS, then PT12 will be the best way forward

Thanks for the input guys I will be making PT12 work for me. Yes there were a couple projects started almost 2 years ago but hey.

By the way I just found this thread that says they're working on getting PT10 compatible with Yosemite:

Thanks for the responses so far. One suggestion i've seen on another thread on this forum is to manually change my mac OS system version, install PT10, and then quickly change the number of my OS system version back to 10.10.4.

Does anybody have more of an educated opinion on this?? Sounds pretty dangerous but if it'll work then I don't mind doing it.

Thanks in advance

ps. this was the link that was posted in the thread:

It's just a text file that an installer checks prior to starting the procedure. Change it, start the installer, then change it back.

But bear in mind that even though you might manage to install PT10 on Yosemite, the experience might not be what you expect. For example, the plugin menus will be blank and things like that. Known issues Avid isn't going to address because PT10 is not intended to be compatible with Yosemite or Mavericks.

There's nothing there that mentions PT. Maybe you put in the wrong link?

Thanks but even in the correct link I can find nothing that says Avid is working on making PT10 Yosemite compatible.

OP said his options are 10/12, so therefore he needs to make PT12 work.
That's incorrect. He doesn't "need" to make 12 work, he can install Mavericks and use PT10 as I did, and as others have done.
