PT 10 and At LEAST Mavericks....

Musicman... this is a company wide policy and the security issue I am speaking of pertains to Microsoft software and mac OSX security and bugs and OS versions... Meaning Yosemite is the only OSX that does not have the security and bug issues with this software.... so that is the main issue not OSX being unstable or having security issues as an OS alone cause as you say they do security updates on those OS versions.

In my main studio spaces we do use separate machines but I cant afford the space and headache to have that for all edit, foley, dialogue stations which all run Pro Tools.... hence why I am asking if there was any update/news about releases for PT to be fully qualified on newer OSX....

I assume since nobody responded that PT 11.3.0 was working as it should that there are still bugs that can be show stoppers for some?

Id be happy to move up if those main list of bugs have been fixed.

Well placing the PT 10 forum under "Legacy Products" answered all my questions here.... Thats F-ckd up Avid

They should also make another category that is labeled as "Not working right yet" for PT 11

But then that would mean they only have Legacy software working since they currently do not have a working version.

Oh well looks like its time to look at Logic and other options for the future.

This also does not bode well for future PT offerings like PT12 to include a license asset for PT10. I know there's been speculation that would be the case but I think we have our answer. Like many I still use PT10.3.9 because of certain plugins that will never go aax any form.

I am right there with you man 10.3.9... and yes I have dozens of Waves bundles too... I could use them DSP if I want to invest in the black Box, which is great since you can use it with any studio mixer or DAW you want, but its mainly the VI/Video issues with 11 that has made it a no go in my world.
