Default Electric car sfx

I’m looking for the sound effect of an electric car driving off. I’m looking for that sort of wine sound you get when you start off not the sound of the tires on the pavement. Can anyone point me to anything? I just need the one sound. Can’t justify getting a hole library.

Thanks

I did something similar a year or two ago on a pilot for ABC. I pitch shifted some turbines and centrifuges and mixed and matched to come up with something useable, as I recall. Ours was sort of a steampunk version of an electric vehicle, so your mileage may vary.

You should know about 2 things:
  1. Paul Virostek's Sound Effects Search which of Indy Libraries
  2. Sounddogs. Commercial and Sounddogs Custom and Indy FX

Many Indy libraries are quite affordable. With Sounddogs you can by one sound effect.
