Default Melodyne and Pro Tools LE 8

Hi all,

Searching the forums tells me that Melodyne should - I think - have come with PT8. Is this correct; I find no sign of it. Is this something I should have downloaded ages ago or is it a new purchase?

Thanks...

Oh and if it's relevant - the Sandra...

I have no idea why you posted this in the section for Virtual Instruments, but....I do believe that LE8 included Melodyne Essentials, which should be listed in your My Avid Account under My Products(it was a separate download and install). Having said that, it was(is) a very stripped down version that was mostly aimed at getting you to buy the full version(but if you do have a license in your account, it might be good for a discount). In any case, you need a version that runs as RTAS(assuming you are running LE8).

Default Re: Melodyne and Pro Tools LE 8

Thank you Dave,

I posted this here as I thought it had something to do with virtual instruments (I thought I was not accessing it correctly). So it was two subjects (do I have it and how am I not able to find it and if I don't have it, should I? And if not, why not? A perusal of the posts indicate there may be a possible download, or possibly not (more likely). There are loads of places I could have wrongly posted this, so I wrongly posted it here. For which I offer apologies.

I thought I did have the full version - arm and leg price at the time.

So in other words I don't have it; it's not hidden and I do have to buy it. Ok. Now I know.

Cheers....
