Trouble activating Pro Tools 12 Education Subscription

I purchased an Annual Subscription of the Education version of Pro Tools 12, but I have been unable to activate it. I opened a case with Avid, but they have not been able to resolve the issue.

When I received my card/USB key, I went through all the activation steps. For the education version, you have to take an additional step - you have to go through the "Identit-e" system to verify that you have a .edu address (which I do). I successfully cleared this process. I registered my iLok account and transferred it to my iLok key.

The problem is that when when I go to My Accounts > My Products, I get the following message: "You do not own any products under this account yet."

I went to the Download Center and downloaded what I thought was the right version, but I think I got the Perpetual Version, because when I downloaded it and ran setup and I inserted my iLok and signed in, then tried to launch the software, I got the following error message:

Select License to Activate
You don't have any licenses in your account, or none of the licenses there have activations available.
You do not have any pending deliveries for the license(s) you need to authorize the software.
Click here if you need to purchase a license for Pro Tools Perpetual.

Here is what I did: I went to My Accounts > Downloads Center and clicked on "Avid Pro Tools / Pro Tools HD"

I downloaded version 12.8.2, but got the "Perpetual License" error above. Is there a different version for Subscriptions? If so, where the heck is it?
