Default Fast Track C400 weird on Sierra

Hi, I have got the latest drivers (1.2.11, 26 Oct 2016).

The drivers install just fine, but, after rebooting Mac Os or even just putting it in stand-by mode, the C400 is gone again and I have to reinstall the drivers.

Has anyone encountered the issue so far and how could this be solved?

Thank you.

Can you go through the Optimization Guide (one part of that is disabling power save features, Avid devices do not support sleep).

But this happens whenever I simply close my Macbook's lid, which is unavoidable.

This part specifically should help with that:

Optimize Energy Saver
This optimization will free up system resources as well as prevent the computer from going to sleep or standby mode which can cause audio dropouts with Pro Tools software and hardware.

Open System Preferences.
Click 'Energy Saver'.
Do one of the following (available option depends on your computer model).
If present, set the 'Computer sleep' slider to 'Never'
Otherwise, check the box that says 'Prevent computer from sleeping automatically when the display is off.'
Un-check the box for 'Put hard disks to sleep when possible'.
Un-check the box for ‘Enable Power Nap'

Your other option would be to disconnect the C400 before closing the lid or putting the laptop to sleep.

Does it mean that if I press the hotkey to put the Mac to sleep, such an action will have the C400 stop working, too?

Yes!

All sleep fuctions screws up Pro Tools and they should ALL be set to OFF.

I am confirming this behaviour. I just pulled down the lid and the drivers are gone...

Sorry to say the following, but this is really an embarassing bug that should be addressed as soon as possible...

It's very impractical to have the audio device behave like this.

Take care.

These recommendations are pretty standard regardless of interface vendor, for example:

https://support.focusrite.com/hc/en-...-Mac-for-Audio
http://support.presonus.com/hc/en-us...ista-Windows-7
http://m-audio.com/kb/article/1620#W...imization Tips

These are just the first three other vendors that came to mind..
