macbook pro release question

hey all

i'm sure there already has been tons of post about this but i cant seem to find anything specific.

a buddy of mine is looking to buy one of the new macbook pros. he also wants to purchase pro tools to use with it.
any idea when digidesign is planning a release of pro tools that works with this computer?

any help on this would be much appreciated.
