I agree. Signed... But AAC is purely an Apple format. And for how much longer will Digi support Apple? That's the real question? Is that why they haven't developed it yet?

If by that you mean that apple is the only online digital music company that uses AAC then you're mostly right, but if you think it's an actual apple product/format you're mistaken. Taken from this page

Quote:
AAC was developed by the MPEG group that includes Dolby, Fraunhofer (FhG), AT&T, Sony, and Nokia—companies that have also been involved in the development of audio codecs such as MP3 and AC3 (also known as Dolby Digital).
AAC is also the compression format used on DVD Audio Discs

Hi Digi...

I've submitted this through the feature request a few times now... just wondering if there's any word this feature might be included into future versions of LE? I noticed that Logic Pro 7 has this funcionality now (Import AAC)...

Digi,

If you are low on development resources, don't bother with AAC. Instead, give us something useful like auto delay compensation. Then again I bet that's already coded in LE, just commented out.
You took the words right out of my mouth ! Literally ! I was just about to post exactly what you have!
Thank God someone has their head screwed on.
The rest of you, just use frikin iTunes. It's no big deal, and it's free.
(I know i'm gonna get flame grilled for that last one, but hey...)
