Reply from Avid. Fix is pending in a future release asap.

Let's hope "asap" doesn't take as long as the MIDI-volume-fader-bug took………
(fix came finally with 12.6)

but now with the MIDI-latency-bug Pro Tools is again not usable when working with lots of MIDI.

cheers
Walter

I'm wondering what will be broken on the next PT update?

This midi bug on 12.6 is unacceptable, I thought avid would fix it immediately and release an emergency update quickly... wrong! They don't care.

I hope this MIDI bug is "number one" on the "fix list" for the next dot release.

I haven't been able to find a workaround.

This royally sucks. I'm hanging at 12.5.2 till they get it fixed.

One would certainly have to question the priority of MIDI in PT if not. It's clearly a 100% showstopper and should be an all hands on deck action. If this happened with audio, it wouldn't even go out the door.
