Default Ewql
Has anyone heard whether or not EWQL will be doing AAX? I have a good portion of VIs from them and have not heard or seen anything yet. Thanks!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it says they're working on it on their website somewhere (thank God - many many developers aren't). Like most companies, they don't make it easy to find for some reason.

From their website (i'll get the link when I'm back home). They are pushing to get it out with the release of PT 11, and it could potentially be Play 4 at the same time.

I've been using Kontakt 4 and 5 as a host and importing the EWQL sound libraries into that.

That helps a lot! I would have hated to lose the incredible sounds in PT 11 and that would have been a deal breaker.

Are you using the discontinued NI-powered EWQL libraries? IIRC, PLAY libraries cannot be imported into Kontakt.

Yup, it's the old EWQL Silver Orchestra plugin (got to be 10 years old now), Kontakt player just imported them and I use them as normal.

Hey Paul,

I had no idea you could do this. How do you import the newer "play" libraries into Kontakt?

I would LOVE this as their play engine is not so hot.
