Default Latency on printed tracks

Hello,

I was printing a bass track with a few plug ins on it and noticed that there is a latency on the track, I have Delay Compensation and Low Latency Monitoring enabled, and my Buffer Size is 1024.

Any ideas what could be causing this and how to fix it?

Running a 6 Core Mac Pro with 0S X 10.9.5 Mavericks.

Could be any number of things. A bit more info would help.

Is the plugin on the track exceeding the Delay Compensation limit? Is the plugin reporting the Delay Compensation correctly?

What tests have you done so far to resolve the problem?

The issue has been resolved.
Somehow by using an already existing bus track there was an added latency, when I created a brand new bus to print the latency magically disappeared.

Well it wouldn’t have just ‘magically disappeared’. They’re would have been a plugin or something on the buss causing the latency.

Personally, I’d try and get to the bottom of it so you know for next time.
