Default Session pitch going down when i move from digi001 to m-audio

Hi.
The trouble it's fooling me it's this one:
I record my sessions on the sutudio. There we have a desktop PC with digi001 (pt 6.4). The digi is connected with an OCTOPRE LE, thru adat, using the AD/DA expansion of the focustrite pre. I guess that's the center of the question, but i still don't know how to solve it.
Then i take the sessions and open it at home, in a desktop PC with a m-audio audiophile 192 (pci), and protools m-powered 8. Everything it's right, excepting the whole pitch of the session is bit down, even the tempo remains the same!

Does someone have some light on the matter?

thanks a lot in advance

First of all, I am not quite sure about the 001 and 6.9? The last release for the 001 was 6.4.
You are experiencing a clock issue. Check that the sample rate is the same on both sessions. If you go from 48k to 44.1k your pitch will be lowered, although so will the tempo.

Definitely go back to PT6.4 with CS6 and CS9 for your 001, and run XP32 with SP2 or SP3 and no IE8.

The problem is that the session sample rate and the sample rate of the Octopre were different.

In Pro Tools M-Powered, create a new session at 48k and choose to import all tracks from the session you were working with and uncheck the box for sample rate conversion. That will import all of the audio files in at the correct sample rate.

Thanks for the answers. And sorry, it is of course 6.4 in the 001.
Yes, the sample rate seems to be center, but i don't see how to solve it.
Maybe this idea of importing from the session without resampling could be.
Let me check it.

Bingo. That works, at least the files are now in their correct pitch and time. There's, but, one thing left: the tempo of the session doesn't fits with the audio files (even i've choosed maintaining the tempo in the import settings). So by now i cannot use the grill or the click animore on that session.
Well, here i have a step, but i guess i would have to solve it from the root to have a good work method.

So you're saying the tempo in the session is set correctly, but that it no longer lines up with the audio files?

Are your tracks set to Ticks or Samples? They should be set to Samples...if they're set to Ticks, that could cause a problem like this...

Here's a link to someone else with a similar issue and a way to figure out what your true tempo is. The only difference is that your formula will be x*48000/44100.
