Adding memory locations in PTControl
Hi Guys and girls,
So I can access memory locations via the 10 banks of soft keys, which yield 19 memory locations. But that seems to be the limit. I have 482 memory locations, which for editing purposes I need to scroll through. If I go to the command section in Eucontrol settings and search in the Project>memory locations, I can't only see the limit of 19 locations. There doesn't seem to be an option to add more. Is this the case? Is this the limit? Cheers |

Re: Adding memory locations in PTControl
PT Control has preset soft key pages set up for up to 96 memory locates, just go to the soft keys page and then "MEM LOC" page. You'll see at the bottom of the page jump keys to take you from 1-12/13-24/25-36, etc, up to 85-96. After 96, you'll need to create pages with your locates beyond 96 using the soft keys editor (a drag, obviously).
I'm not talking about the "little" soft keys on the bottom of PTC (and on the surface of the Dock), but the actual soft keys page. With over 400 memory slots used(!), it will almost be easier to punch in the number with .N. key commands than scrolling to find the name/number, etc. Put a spreadsheet on your DAW and refer to it, then punch in the #. Hope I've helped! Last edited by soundasleep; 05-31-2017 at 03:58 PM. |
