Transit 88.2?
I own a M-Audio Transit. The top of it says '24-bit, 96kHz'... Recently I've been working on a session that is all in 88.2. I needed to do some quick roughs on my laptop and couldnt open the session because it said the sample rate was not supported. Is there anyway around this at all?

Re: Transit 88.2?
HI,
you have to change the Transit setting in the AudioMIDI setup. With samplerates higher than 48K you only have 2 output channels. this doesn´t change automatically. regs

Re: Transit 88.2?
I know from the product specs that Transit supports 88.1/96 kHz in unidirectional mode. But does the Pro Tools software itself support this sample rate with Transit?
(Somewhere along the line, I got the impression that while the operating system and other audio software may support these higher sample rates, M-Powered only supports the Transit in 48/44 kHz, bidirectional mode. Is this not correct?) Thanks. |

Re: Transit 88.2?
Sorry,
when I said it´s changed in the AudioMIDI. It´s actually set in the M-Audio SystemPrefs. It will affect AudioMIDI but not vice versa. My Transit is doing 88.2/96 just fine. Open PTMP select "Hardware" from the Setup menu and choose "Outputs 1&2" from the M-Audio prefs. Then PT let´s you choose the higher sample rates when you create a new Session. regs
