"Welcome to Avid Product Registration" window continues to open when launching PT

At least once or twice every hour the Digidesign Pro Tools registration window pops up on my mac. But I have already registered so I really wish it would stop. Anyone knows how I can do it? Thank you very much.

no? No-one? I might delete pro tools from my mac and go with Cubase then, cause this is really annoying.

Thank you for the reply. Have done what you suggest, I hope it helps. You might want to look into this and fix it in future PT updates if it is commonly happening? It is very annoying you see. For instance if you are in the middle of a recording and this window pops up out of the blue.

What exactly does this window say? Is it asking about Pro Tools, or some plugin(s)? Generally, the software simply does not open until it gets authorized the first time(but I have not read up on other problems of this). If its a plugin, removing the proper files from the Plugins folder will solve it.

My Pro Tools 9 is already registered and runs fine with my iLok but the product registration window keeps popping up. Anyone know how to stop it?

I'm running Mac OS 10.6.5.

Select the "already registered" option when it pops up.

I didn't have that option in PT 9. I had "Exit Registration," "Remind me in 14 days" and "Register Now." No matter which option I would choose, the window would disappear, only to reappear later... strange.

I've deleted the "ProToolsRegistration" file as suggested by DigiTechSupt and it seems to have done the trick.

When I am prompt to register, I have the three options Exit, Remind me in 14 days and Register now. I hit register now and both windows disappear and its popping up I'd say every hour and disappearing when I try too. I just need to hit the option that says already registered since I did it through the AVID website. So, any suggestions would be helpful!
