Digitalz,

Audiodeluxe is a fully authorized Waves dealer, and has been for years. There are other companies that also sell at these prices like Alto Music and Plugindiscounts.com. They are also fully authorized Waves dealers as well, and are allowed by Waves to sell at these prices. They just can't advertise at these prices, but they are allowed to sell at these prices by personal quote, or adding to cart, etc.

And they are not selling below cost because Platinum is on sale this month, which means they are getting it cheaper from Waves this month. So your emails to Waves are a waste of time, because there's nothing wrong going on here.

I was simply pointing out that you should adjust your price accordingly if you want to sell your product, since most people on these forums are familiar with these dealers and their prices.

Digitaliz - you do appear to have taken a helpful statement of fact wrongly and ended up arguing with yourself. I doubt anyone was trying to be difficult - nst7 has 7.7k+ posts on DUC and the information he passed on should allow you to realise that you are unlikely to sell at the asking price. Most people here are familiar with Audiodeluxe, Plugindiscounts, JRRshop, etc. - they routinely discount plugins and Waves (and others) authorise them to do so.

Also FYI, Waves appear to be on a continuous cycle of special offers/sale prices, such that I doubt many people pay the list prices shown on their website when not on sale. These prices probably affect 'second-hand' sales as anyone researching the last sale price who is able to wait, may expect to pay the lower price in the future.
